Shenandoah Valley Food Infrastructure Survey

As a Farmer in the Shenandoah Valley and Chesapeake Bay area, your help is needed!

Food system infrastructure includes facilities and resources that support a food system such as shared-use kitchens, food processing and packaging equipment, and food storage.   Improved access to these resources is necessary to the sustainability and growth of the Shenandoah Valley and Chesapeake Bay’s food system.

A survey is being conducted to guide planning and investment in food system resources.  What food system equipment do you have?  What type of facilities would you like to have access to?  Where should it be located?

How you can help: Share your thoughts and opinions by completing our online survey.  This survey should take you no more than about 15 minutes to complete.

This study is being supported by the Valley Conservation Council and Virginia Cooperative Extension.  As thanks for sharing your opinions, enter to win 1 of 5 $100 pre-paid Visa gift cards.  (Odds of winning are approximately 1 in 55.)  Also, study results will be forwarded to those who are interested.
